AirMeUp provides free text messaging for friends and family.
With it you can send an SMS for free from your mobile device to other members exactly as you are used to.
The SMS is sent over the internet :
- If you have a data package or are connected to WiFi, the SMS will be sent for free.
The application continuously runs in the background and consumes very little battery power, as opposed to other IM, SIP or Voip application.
Even if the SMS destination does not have AirMeUp the recipient will be able to reply for free using a "reply" link attached to your SMS. (This can be controlled from your AirMeUp application settings).
Also you can install this application on your PC or on your mobile phone.
